Growing up in the heart of Los Angeles, EYEQ was exposed to the dynamic musical climate of the bustling city at an early age. DJing came to him in 1999 and then in the early 2000’s doing various local bars, clubs, and house parties where he fine-tuned his mixing and scratching abilities. Thanks to his appetite to wake up the neighbors and incinerate crowds, EYEQ found an instant click with the BWOMP! Crew and subsequently a home in the bass music community. To date, he owes his DJing career to his respect for all genres of music and moreover, his undying love for bass music.
